In 1933 Charles Black, a Gippsland sharecropper, arrived in Melbourne and started work as a plasterer’s labourer. Four years later he owned the business and his 12 year old son, Ivan, began learning the trade. He continued plastering for the next 55 years, witnessing major changes in the industry.
Since the 1960’s we have specialised in renovations and repairs.
